Itinerary
DAY 1 THURSDAY, 11/28/2024 INZAGO - MUNICH
Early morning departure by GT coach in the direction of the Brenner Pass, Austria and Germany. Free lunch along the way. In the afternoon, arrive in Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
Time at leisure for an initial visit to the Baby Jesus Christmas Market, the city's main one, set up at the central Marienplatz.
Afterwards transfer to hotel, settle into reserved rooms, dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 FRIDAY, 11/29/2024 MUNICH - NUREMBERG
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet with local guide and morning dedicated to sightseeing. The following will be admired: the old town around the Marienplatz, the Gothic Cathedral of Our Lady, and the Residential Castle of the Dukes of Bavaria. Free lunch.
Early afternoon time at leisure for individual sightseeing and shopping in the bustling streets of the center.
At about 4 p.m., departure for Nuremberg.
Upon arrival, settle into booked hotel, dinner and overnight.
DAY 3 SATURDAY, 11/30/2024 NUREMBERG
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning guided tour of Nuremberg; the mighty city wall, the romantic rows of half-timbered houses, the Market Square graced by the beautiful pinnacle-shaped fountain, the City Hall and the churches of Our Lady, St. Lawrence and St. Sebald. Free lunch.
In the afternoon, time at leisure in the city center for a visit to the Christmas Markets: the market square in front of the Gothic Frauenkirche building and the adjacent alleyways are home to Germany's largest market, the origins of which date back to the first half of the 1500s when Martin Luther introduced the custom of giving gifts to children at Christmas.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4 SUNDAY NUREMBERG - INNSBRUCK - INZAGO
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, beautifully located in the valley of the Inn River, surrounded by the striking backdrop of the Nordkette Mountains. Time at leisure to admire the Christmas markets. Free lunch and return to Italy in the afternoon.
