DECEMBER 15: RIQUEWIHR - EGUISHEIM
Early morning departure from the chosen location to Riquewihr, charming and fairy-tale-like, has inspired artists from all over the world. Riquewihr is a charming French village. Along with Eguisheim, it has received recognition as the "Most Beautiful Village in France." Free lunch. Free walk through the narrow streets of the center where you can admire the many houses included in the list of Riquewihr Historical Monuments while being guided by the colors and fairy-tale atmosphere. It is transformed during Advent into an enchanted place: its decorated and illuminated half-timbered houses, the scent of spiced sweets and elegant Christmas decorations will take you into a magical world. Don't miss Käthe Wohlfahrt's store, a true "Christmas village" set up inside a colombage house, and the Witches and Goblins store. We will continue to Eguisheim, enclosed in the Alsatian vineyard, with winegrowers' houses leaning against the walls and wrapped in concentric circles around the castle of the Counts of Eguisheim. Picturesque narrow streets, colorful facades and traditional trellises make up the charm of this town on the Alsace Wine Route. In this enchanted setting, the charm of the Christmas market is incomparable. In the chalets, artisans and makers give ample space to local specialties and local flavors. Upon completion continue to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
