Palazzo Te is a residence designed in 1525 by Giulio Romano, a pupil of Raphael, for Federico II Gonzaga; considered one of the most beautiful historic villas in our country, today, in addition to preserving its precious cultural heritage, it has become a landmark for the city of Mantua, which has made it an art hub.
The Villa of leisure and recreation, a kind of ” representative villa,” which in the past was intended for lavish receptions and secret amorous gatherings.
Be amazed by Falling Hall of Giants and Hall of Cupid and Psyche, and discover the rich history behind this place.

Departure by GT coach in the direction of Mantua, Palazzo Te.

Upon arrival, meet with the local palace guide. Visit the monumental halls and the beautiful frescoes that adorn the eleven rooms of the palace, embellished with gilded and silvered leather curtains and applications, doors of inlaid wood, bronzes and fireplaces built with the help of precious marbles.
At the end of the visit, transfer to the center of Mantua for lunch at a typical restaurant.
Afternoon at leisure to stroll and admire the squares and palaces of Mantua's historic center, and to store among the various stores to delight your palate with the many delicacies in the area!

In the late afternoon, return.
