Outline program:
Private transfer to Sulzano and departure by public boat to Monte Isola, the pearl of Lake Iseo. Monte Isola is a true naturalistic and artistic jewel towering in the middle of the lake, named one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.” Arrive and disembark at Peschiera Maraglio, where typical Lake Iseo fishermen’s boats can be seen at the small port. The guided tour through narrow streets and small squares, will take you to the southern lakefront, where you can admire the small Island of St. Paul.
Continuation to Iseo. Upon arrival time at leisure for lunch and a walk through the historic center, with the Romanesque parish church of Sant’Andrea, the Castle, Santa Maria del Mercato and the lakefront.
Afterwards, transfer to a prestigious and historic winery in the area. Guided tour to discover the production of Franciacorta wine. Tasting of 2 glasses of Franciacorta Millesimati, accompanied with Parmigiano Reggiano and various appetizers.
Return to Milan or Bergamo in the evening.
