Itinerary

Cruise among the Islands of Lake Maggiore by Sailboat

Cruise to discover the beauty of Lake Maggiore, swim and stop at one of the locations visited. A sailboat cruise perfect for a unique sailing experience and immersed in nature.

Where it will take place
Embarkation and disembarkation in Laveno Mombello (VA) or from the Piedmont coast upon request.

Days and times
Daily, 9h30 to 12h30 or 15h00 to 18h00.

Cruise of the duration of 3h00.

Wine Tasting

Tasting at a winery we selected for our wine tasting. These producers are true fans of native grape varieties and are committed to reproducing somewhat forgotten varieties, as well as selecting new varieties for inclusion in the IGT. The location is truly unique, right on the shores of Lake Maggiore overlooking the fortress of Angera. You can taste with a wide variety of locally produced wines in a lovely setting. Don't miss this unique opportunity!

Cooking Class

Unique experience to learn how to cook three easy-to-make typical Italian dishes. During your stay you can participate in an Italian cooking class in the province of Varese, on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

The three typical dishes you will learn to cook are: pizzoccheri; Ligurian pesto; and tiramisu.
The course will be held in the garden of an early 20th century villa near Lake Maggiore, where you will enjoy the dishes prepared accompanied by a glass of red wine. We look forward to sharing this culinary experience with you!

Guided tour of the Fortress of Angera and the Hermitage of Santa Caterina

The guided tour of the village and Rocca di Angera will take you on a discovery of one of the most striking corners of Lake Maggiore, a place where art and nature find a perfect union.
Visit lasting about two and a half hours. Meet 15 minutes earlier in front of St. Mary's Church.
A visit to the hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso is a very picturesque place for a visit to Lake Maggiore. From the Lombard shore of the lake, where it is located, this religious and artistic complex is not visible, being perched on very steep rocks that remain hidden from view. From the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, on the other hand, there is a splendid view and the visual impact is spectacular. The Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso can also be reached by elevator carved into the rock.

E-bike tours along the shores of Lake Maggiore

E-bike tours along the most enchanting and hidden trails in the lake region. You will have the opportunity to explore breathtaking places by cycling along picturesque routes in the green foothills of the Alps near Lake Maggiore.

During your hike, you will have the opportunity to discover unspoiled places off the beaten path and enjoy delicious local products accompanied by an experienced guide who knows all the most mysterious corners of the area.

Departure from Luino where electric bicycles can be rented.
