Franciacorta is a splendid region of Lombardy. Nature has over thousands of years sculpted this ancient land, creating a breathtakingly varied landscape awash with colour, that yields its most prized treasure, wine.


1° day: arrival in the Franciacorta region and check-in at agriturismo (Farmhouse)/ hotel***.
Evening free and overnight accommodation.
2° day: breakfast at the hotel. 9.00 a.m. - Cookery course (in English): vegetable picking in the vegetable garden, preparation of a complete menu and visit of the wine cellar. Lunch consisting of the dishes prepared, complemented with regional wine. Participants will be given an apron and recipe book as souvenirs of the course. Evening free and overnight accommodation.
3° day: Breakfast at the hotel. 9.00 a.m. – Transfer to Lake Garda and visit to a Lugana wine cellar and olive oil mill (Extra virgin olive oil Dop Garda). Tasting including local salami and cheese.
3.00 p.m. – Travel inland to the farmhouse/hotel, along the ‘Strada dei vini e dei sapori del Garda’ (Wine and gourmet road of Lake Garda region). Evening free and overnight accommodation.
4° day: Breakfast at the hotel.9.30 a.m. – Meeting with the guide for a visit of an olive oil mill on Lake Iseo. Olive oil tasting. 11.00 a.m. ~ - Departure by boat to Monte Isola, the biggest lake island in Europe, that was awarded first place in the Italian Classification as the European destination of excellence (Eden) in 2010.
Free time in the fishing village for a visit to the small shops with typical food products.
Lunch including lake fish (incl. 1 glass of wine, half a bottle of mineral water, espresso)
3.00 p.m. - Return to Iseo and short guided tour into the historical centre.
Evening free and overnight accommodation.
5° day: breakfast at the hotel. 11.00 a.m. – Visit to a wine cellar of the Franciacorta region, with Franciacorta sparkling wine tasting and appetizers.
2.00 p.m. – Visit to a distillery in an ancient location, date back to the Early Middle Ages. Tasting of grappa and appetizers. Evening free and overnight accommodation.
6° day: breakfast at the hotel. 10.00 a.m. – Visit to a farmhouse with animals, small dairy and shop: the guests are involved in making cheese. Evening free and overnight accommodation.
7° day: breakfast and departure.
The tour includes: six overnight accommodation with breakfast in double room (agriturismo or 3 star hotel – Franciacorta – Lago d’Iseo); all the services mentioned; day 4 guide service FD.

A tour that gives you the opportunity to visit the most famous Italian food museums in an area considered the Food Valley of Italy, known worldwide for its typical products such as Parma Ham and Parmigiano Reggiano. The Parma Ham Museum allows the visitor to re-construct the production process from the animal to cured meat and the Parmigiano Reggiano museum, set in an ancient dairy farm, shows the production process and the ripening of the cheese. Not only food but also art will be the protagonist of the excursion with a guided tour of Parma, an ancient city seat of many historical monuments.
